Q.
What options are there for the sign's backing board?
We offer 3 different backing options: Cut To Shape, Full Board and Cut To Letter.
Here’s a little more information about each of the options:
Cut To Shape (most popular)
This is where the 10mm thick clear acrylic board backing is cut to follow the shape of the overall design, with a 3-4cm border.
Full Board
This is where the backing is cut to a full rectangle/square, approximately 6-8cm bigger than the overall design.
The corners are slightly rounded so there aren’t any sharp edges.
Cut To Letter
This is where the backing follows the shape of the design very closely with a 1-1.5cm outline. Cut to letter is available as an option in our bespoke service.

How are LED Neon and traditional glass neon signs different?
Traditional neon signs are made by heating and bending a glass tube to shape and filling It with a neon gas. When electricity it passed through it, the gas glows creating that iconic light. While the traditional way of making signs, glass Neon signs are more expensive to make, install and repair. They are fragile and easily break; more expensive to run, require regular cleaning and maintenance by a professional; are heavy and prone to damage during shipping. Glass neon signs make a continuous hum or buzz when they’re on.
LED neon uses entirely different technology. LED neon signs are less expensive to make, buy and install. Our signs are made of high quality, flexible and shatter- and heat-resistant acrylic. They are lightweight, reducing costs; require no maintenance; emit no sound when on. Furthermore, our signs are delivered with a touch dimmer to control the brightness of the sign. All of this means that LED neon signs are a more affordable, more reliable, more durable option that traditional glass Neon. LED neon is a better technology.

What's in the box?
All My Perfect Neon signs are delivered with all the accessories you need to mount them.
In the box will be:
– Your My Perfect Neon sign
– 2m power cord, adapter and UK plug
– A remote so you can dim the light if you wish
– A template so you can mark out on your wall where you drill the holes to mount your sign

Is delivery included in the price?
Yes. The price you pay for your neon sign includes delivery to your door.
We can deliver to Ireland, Channel Islands and anywhere else in the world, but we will have to quote separately for delivery to these regions.

What payment methods do you accept?
My Perfect Neon accepts online card payments from all major debit and credit cards and pay later options with Klarna. Alternatively, we can invoice you allowing you to pay by Bank Transfer.

How are the signs powered?
My Perfect Neon signs are mains-powered and supplied with a UK plug and adapter as standard. Other plugs are available, please contact us to discuss your needs.

What colours can I choose for the LED Neon light?
LED Neon strip is manufactured in a wide range of colours from warm white to purple. Any of our signs can be made with any colour and/or in a mix of colours.
Colour changing (Red Green Blue) LED Neon is available at an extra cost, please contact us to discuss your needs.

Can you match handwriting?
YES! My Perfect Neon can match your handwriting or your loved one’s to make a deeply personal and truly unique sign. Don’t worry if you do not have the exact phrase you want. Given a few handwritten words, we can create the phrase you want in the handwriting you love. Please contact us to discuss your needs.

How energy efficient are LED neon signs?
All of our signs are A+++ rating for energy efficiency. LED neon strip lights are among the least expensive lights to run. Coupled with their long-life, this low energy demand makes neon LED lights a very cost-efficient and planet-friendly choice.
One of our happy customers tested our signs’ efficiency. His smart meter confirmed that running one of our signs costs less than 2p an hour. So, you can be sure our signs are VERY energy efficient and turning them on won’t break the bank (or your smart meter!).

How do I set-up and hang my sign?
Our signs are very easy to install. The acrylic backing will come with pre-drilled holes. You will need a drill (with a 6mm drill-bit), spirit level (unless you live life on the edge and want to wing it!), pencil and screwdriver.
Your neon sign will come with a template which you hold against the wall you want to mount your sign on. This template will show you where to drill the holes you need to hang you sign. We don’t supply screws with our signs because you know your walls better than we do.

How long does delivery take?
From payment of order to delivery to your door will take approximately 7-10 working days.

What is your returns policy?
My Perfect Neon abides by the Consumer Contracts Regulations and the Consumer Rights Act.
Every My Perfect Neon sign is custom-made to order and, as such, the 14-day cooling-off period within the Consumer Contracts Regulations does NOT apply. If you’ve fallen out of love with your sign, do get in touch and let us see what we can do to help.
If your sign is faulty, damaged in transit, not as described or fails due to a quality issue during the first 12 months of ownership. You are protected by the Consumer Rights Act and covered by our 12-month warranty.

Do you offer payment plans?
No, we don’t offer payment plans. Not yet anyway!

Are the signs suitable for outdoor use?
My Perfect Neon signs are suitable only for indoor use as standard. We can supply signs with the necessary waterproofing to allow outdoor use, please contact us to discuss your needs.

What fonts can I choose?
My Perfect Neon uses a range of Copywrite-free fonts to minimise costs to our lovely customers. Any of our signs can be made in any of our fonts and in many others. We can match almost any font you need, please contact us to discuss your needs.
Q.
Can you work with logos and images?
Yes, we can work with logos and images in 2 ways:
Logos: We can work with you to create your logo in LED Neon, it makes a superb vibe for a workspace!
Photos: We can screen-print a high-quality image onto the back of the acrylic backing and then add words or shapes in LED Neon on the front. These make unique, statement pieces of art!

All of our neon signs and neon products are designed here in the UK. We are a British business and proud of it! Our premium and bespoke neon signs are 100% made here in the UK and our Home Range of LED neon signs are made by our factory in China.
