TfL “London Zoo” Neon Sign (Made in Britain)

Showcasing TfL, one of the most well-known brands in the world, in neon, has never been done before and you cannot buy these products anywhere else except through My Perfect Neon.

We are delighted to introduce you to the new range of 3D LED neon TfL heritage posters signs we have made. Each sign is handmade, from scratch, here in the UK and with each sign, we have picked out detail in it in 3D LED neon.

The exotic animals of London’s zoos have been the subject of over 100 TfL heritage posters.  London Zoo in Regent’s Park, the world’s first scientific zoo, was the most frequently publicised.    This is one of at least two posters created by the artist Charles Paine advertising travel by Tube to London Zoo.  Paine’s 1921 illustration features a waddle of penguins and the poster reads “For the Zoo, book to Regent’s Park or Camden Town”.  My Perfect Neon has now recreated TfL’s heritage asset in a new and vibrant way.  The original artwork has been vinyl printed onto the front of a 3 mm acrylic board and we have picked out the outline of the penguins in blue and ice blue neon.  The neon detail is 3D, so not only can you put your hand behind the neon, the neon detail stands proud of the sign and the effect is stunning.  Everyone loves penguins and whether you are a wildlife enthusiast, a London Zoo fan or simply seeking a unique and vibrant work of art for your home, we are sure you will love this neon sign.  You can check out the other TfL licensed 3D neon signs here.
